December - a time for warm thoughts of peace | |
I feel a kind of peace emanating from this: it's like looking directly at the source of everything, God if you're religious, levels of organisation of matter for a scientific equivalent. Yet for me, these are not, indeed cannot be, equivalent. The distinction is subtle but essential. I turn to my usual sources for explanation: the Ground Luminosity (Buddhism) or the Implicate Order (David Bohm). I believe that fractals are closely linked with these kinds of ideas (as is holography), therefore fractal art is a natural means of their expression. Created with Stirling. |
